How Alder Family Dental Is Keeping You Safe From The Coronavirus
Posted on 5/3/2020 by Michael Mettler
In light of the recent news of the Coronaviris (COVID-19) spreading through Washington State, and a patient from Umatilla County, Oregon at Providence St. Mary's Hospital in Walla Walla, we've received many questions from patients about our in-office procedures.
While dental offices are always much cleaner than most buildings due to our stringent cleaning standards, we are making sure that we are complying with the CDC guidelines are maintaining an exceptionally clean environment. We've stepped up our cleaning procedures, and in addition to the use of gloves and masks during our procedures and disinfecting our operatories after each procedure. we're also disinfecting all door handles, hard services, pens, clipboards, chair arms, etc. each hour of the day. We've also placed additional hand sanitizer throughout our building for your use.
As always, we encourage you to properly wash your hands regularly, and should you be exhibiting symptoms such as a fever, a cough that won't go away, or shortness of breath or have been in contact with anyone who may have the virus, we ask that you reschedule your appointment to help keep our staff and other patients safe.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. We look forward to serving your dental needs in the near future!
