The CEREC 3D camera scans the prepared tooth in just seconds and eliminates the need for unpleasant silicone impressions. 2. No temporaries. After Dr. Martin designs your case, the CEREC restoration is milled out of a ceramic block in our office in only a few minutes. They are ready to be placed that same day, eliminating the need for temporaries. 3. No long waiting period. You don't have to wait 2-3 weeks for your final restoration. You don't risk the possibility of your temporary cracking or coming off. And, you don't have to schedule a second dental visit.
